Army Veteran and Defence Analyst Dr Glenn Kolomeitz has slammed the Federal government’s proposed $5k allied health cap for veterans.

He says the proposal is “far from acceptable and a “slap in the face”, saying the government ignored the Royal Commission’s recommendations.

“We aren’t putting enough into defence… we are below the NATO rates,” Kolomeitz said.
