Eagles skipper Luke Shuey believes the effort was there from his side in tonight’s 10 point loss to North Melbourne at Optus Stadium.

Shuey chatted to the 6PR Football team after his side’s disappointing loss and said although the effort was there, his side needs to be better.

“We left the door ajar… we could have done a bit more damage in the first half”
