Off the coast of Western Australia, two incredible discoveries have been made by shipwreck divers.

Andre Rerekura and Ryan Chatfield, divers from the Disney Plus series Shipwreck Hunters Australia, spoke with 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl about what it was like to discover a passenger steamship and a Norwegian merchant vessel, both lost for over 100 years.

“We were lucky enough to talk to a descendant whose great-grandma was actually an infant, she was tied to a life buoy when they were abandoning ship and just thrown into the water,” he said.
