A shark attack victim has spoken about his extremely close call and dramatic rescue after a shark attack off the Pilbara coast.

Port Headland local Adam Norton was fishing near the Montebello Islands in waist-deep water when he has bitten.

He talked to Millsy and Karl about the event on 6PR Breakfast, and detailed his experience of waiting for three hours before getting medical help back on the mainland.
