Shadow Treasurer Steve Thomas has hit back at Mark McGowan’s 2023 Budget, saying the government hasn’t done enough to improve the state’s crises with such a large surplus.

Mr Thomas told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the premier is the problem.

“The way Mark McGowan flaunts his wealth means that Mark McGowan is the greatest threat to the funding of this state,” said Mr Thomas.

“If they’re going to attack on the GST  its because Mark Mgcowan flaunts his wealth in front of them… Mark McGowan is part of the problem.”
