Sex abuse claims levelled at Christian Brothers school near Jurien Bay

Witnesses and victims are being urged to come forward after claims of sexual and physical abuse at a school run by the Christian Brothers just east of Jurien Bay.
Slater and Gordon lawyer Kira White, who is running the action, said their client, ‘Joe’, has launched a compensation claim against WA’s St Mary’s Agricultural Farm in Tardun.
She told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings victims like Joe took time to come forward because of the loss of trust they suffered as a child, and subsequent isolation they felt.

“We give our clients an opportunity to go forward and speak to police, it’s something we strongly encourage to do,” she said.
