School suspensions lead to worse future education outcomes

Young people who are suspended at least once from high school are twice as likely not to be involved in education, employment and training by the age of 24, a new study has found.

Research Associate from the University of South Australia, Dr Jamie Manolev told Oly Peterson on Perth Live that suspension should only be used in extreme cases.
