Leda residents continue to be terrorised by two dogs which have reportedly killed over 19 cats in the neighbourhood in the last few weeks.

Leda local Summa Bates told Millsy and Karl she got home from work and noticed patches of blood throughout her home where she discovered her cat had been mauled to death.

“This is an ongoing situation and it’s got to stop – the owners need to be stopped, it’s got to end before someone is hurt,” Ms Bates told 6PR Breakfast.

Another Leda resident, Shelly Mason, discovered her cat was also killed by the two dogs two weeks ago.

“They do have a taste for blood, I am not angry at the dogs, I have seen photos of the dogs – they’re skinny and desperate – the dogs are obviously allowed to do this,” Ms Mason told Millsy and Karl.
