The state government revealed it brought 22 major events to Perth for a total of $59 million.

Minister for Tourism Rita Saffioti told Jamie Burnett on 6PR Weekends, the return from Coldplay, WWE and the FIFA Women’s World Cup alone was $100 million.

“We’ve got to constantly work hard to make sure that we can get the events but do it in a way that is value for taxpayers,” said the Minister.
