Rumours are circulating that Kath & Kim may make a cameo appearance at this year’s AFL grand final. Kath, impersonated by Leah Thomas of the Foxy Hornbags, revealed to 6PR Weekends host Chrissy Morrissy that she is in discussions with event organisers.

“I’m in the prelims of talking with the event organisers on, yes, maybe a few songs and things with Kylie/Epponnee-Rae,” she said.

The speculation began after Perth podcaster Carly Portch pieced the story together from reading Kylie’s Vogue article.

“Vogue announced that Kylie Minogue is their cover star for the September issue … They’ve got iconic Australians to ask her questions … Towards the end of the article Kath & Kim pop up and ask her a question in character,” Portch said.
