Ten days ago, Rumour File entrant Locked & Loaded told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast Police Minister Paul Papalia was preparing to announce the largest gun buyback scheme in state history.

Now, it has been announced the State Government is offering gun owners the buyback scheme ahead of reforms to the Firearms act.

The reforms include mandatory health checks, and a cap on the number of guns a person can own.as well as stricter storage requirements.
