RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Basil Zempilas exits Triple M early

Triple M and former 6PR Breakfast co-host Basil Zempilas has officially blown the siren early on his radio broadcasting career, admitting he “can’t be in two places at once”.
The Perth Lord Mayor and Seven West Media personality launched the re-branded station two years ago and co-hosted the Breakfast show with Xavier Ellis and then Michelle Anderson, with the duo to remain in the slot after Baz exits.
‘Radio Head’ first rang the John Hughes Rumour File on July 12 with news Zempilas will leave at year’s end, and on Friday contacted 6PR Breakfast to say Basil will now finish up before the AFL Grand Final on September 24.
The rumours were confirmed true on Monday, with the station releasing this statement that was retweeted by Baz. Could we see him back at 6PR?
