Rumour confirmed: Light tower moved only meters at huge cost to accommodate AFL cameras

Rumour Files was told that, at the Hands Oval development in Bunbury, to accommodate AFL football, a light tower was blocking a camera, so they spent $700,000 to move the light tower 2m.

6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl spoke to Jason Crowe, the General Manager of South West Football, about the rumour, who could partially confirm it.
“It’s a new million-dollar lighting system which includes the movement of the light tower, so it was a significant amount of money,” he said.
