RUMOUR CONFIRMED: Cricket star reported for alleged on-field assault in grand final

A former international cricketer has been reported for an incident where it’s alleged he hit an opponent with his bat during a weekend game at Bunbury, as divulged by “It’s Just Not Cricket” on the John Hughes Hyundai Rumour FileĀ forĀ 6PR Breakfast.
Former Zimbabwe and Western Warriors player Murray Goodwin was removed from play following a level four offence ā the physical assault of a player or any other person ā in the Bunbury and Districts Association grand final, according to the Bunbury Cricket Association.
It is alleged Goodwin’s bat hit the shoulder and cheek of a player, and he is slated to appear before the Bunbury Cricket District Association Tribunal.
