After seven months of ratification, it is now official: 18-year-old Koby Duncan has set a new World Record for catching the largest Cobia on a line, weighing 79.6kg.

Peter Golding, who held the record for 40 years, spoke to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont about this achievement and explains that he still holds a world record.

“His was nearly 20kg bigger than mine.” he said
