Rippin yarn makes Author the new Australian Children’s Laureate

Sally Rippin is on a mission to ensure all kids are able to read.
As an Author, Rippin’s career has spanned 30 years, has produced over 100 book and is now being recognised as the eighth Australian Children’s Laureate.
A coveted role which Rippin will fill for two year’s, the author told Julie-Anne Sprague on 6PR’s Afternoons that she believes all kids can be readers.
