‘Rigid rules’: Small typo costs fuel station and customers dearly
The managing director of a Perth petrol station is slamming Fuel Watch for not allowing them to correct a typo in their daily price submission.

Burk Cannington mistakenly entered today’s diesel price as $3.97 per litre … a dollar higher than their intended price.
Umar Farooq told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl it is not fair for their customers to be disadvantaged because of Fuel Watch’s rigid rules.
“As per what they were saying you either sell it at the price reported, which was the wrong price we told them multiple times, or you don’t sell the product at all,” he said.
