The Australian Medical Association claims robust regulation of the medicinal cannabis industry is needed to tackle the highly concerning and rapid increase in medicinal cannabis prescribing.

President Dr Danielle McMullen spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said through the Therapeutic Goods Administration there was a pathway that allows the prescription of unapproved medicines but it’s supposed to be for “exceptional use”.
