‘Really messed up’: Why the education system needs an overhaul

New NAPLAN proficiency standards are being proposed meaning students will have to score higher marks in reading, writing and maths.
While in Victoria, principals are calling for ATAR to be scrapped and replaced by a less blunt measure of achievement.
Former principal and CEO of Real Schools Adam Voigt told Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons NAPLAN’s days are numbered.
