The news of Taylor Swift only announcing shows for Sydney and Melbourne during the Australian leg of her ERAs tour might not be the end of the story after all.

With a growing push from fans to get her to make a WA appearance, Assistant to the Prime Minister and Federal member for Perth Patrick Gorman has assured his fellow Swifties he’s on the case.

“I went to the election saying I would stand up for WA,” Mr Gorman told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings.

“That’s my job and I’ll do it every day.”
