Queen’s funeral goes off without a glitch… almost

If you wanted to watch TV last night, it was hard to tune into anything other than the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
Entertainment reporter Peter Ford said the ratings for the event were huge across Channels 7, 9 and ABC, and it would be interesting to see if the worldwide audience topped the record reached during the 1996 Atlanta Olympics opening ceremony, which featured Muhammad Ali lighting the cauldron.
“I tell you what, there were 38,000 things that could’ve gone wrong … and everything was to the second,” he told Michael Genovese on 6PR Breakfast, highlighting that just two very minor things went wrong.
Ford also told Gena about the celebrities in the congregation.
