Quarantine-free travel with Queensland paused as state records positive case

Quarantine-free travel with Queensland has been paused, as the state recorded one new case of COVID-19 on Thursday.
An unvaccinated man on the Gold Coast tested positive and was infectious in the community for more than a week.
The state government had plans to reclassify Queensland from “low risk” to “very low risk” starting from tomorrow, but that will now be put on hold until it’s reevaluated on Monday.
Anyone entering from the state will now still be required to meet G2G pass requirements and complete 14 days of self quarantine.
