One of the largest airline groups in the world Qatar Airways is negotiating to take as much as a 20 per cent stake in Virgin Australia.

Ellis Taylor Cirium Asia Editor joined 6PR Mornings to discuss the potential deal which would see Qatar Airways taking a 20 per cent stake in Virgin Australia.

“Historically Australia has always had an airline backed by a foreign airline,” Taylor said on 6PR Mornings
