More than 40 years after the infamous Gabba pig run, the mystery is finally solved.

Ian Crawford, one of the original culprits, reveals to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl the extraordinary lengths he and his larrikin mates went to, including outsmarting a heavy police presence, to smuggle the Ian Botham-Eddie Hemmings pig into the stadium.

“The police would come around every 10 meters and the crowd was on side, they would cheer for Australia and drown out the grunting of the pig,” he said.
