A campaign to ban smoking in outdoor licensed venues is gaining traction after new data showed patrons no longer want to be exposed to secondhand smoke.

Libby Jardine from Cancer Council WA, Make Smoking History manager, told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that 75 per cent of Western Australian adults favour vape- and smoke-free venues.
“Smoking is something that when you do it, it does affect those people around you,” she said.
