Pursuit risks too high

Article image for Pursuit risks too high

There are renewed calls for WA police not to initiate car-chases.

An east coast road safety expert warns there’s a very real chance someone will be killed, with the issue back in the spotlight following yesterday’s high-speed crash in South Lake.

Two people were killed and another seriously injured when the car that had been involved in a pursuit with police during the night, crashed on North Lake Road.

Road Safety Expert John Lambert has told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings the risks associated with police chases are too high.
