Public school teachers have been told to cut comments from students’ reports as part of a bid to cut workloads and reduce red tape.

State School Teachers Union President Matt Jarman told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl it would create inconsistent competition between public schools.

“We don’t think it’s a good idea due to a lack of consistency,” Mr Jarman said.
