The Australian Medical Association has released a report finding the public hospital system is in the worst shape it’s been in for over a decade.

Australian Medical Association WA President Dr Mark Duncan-Smith told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the state had the worst performance in vital areas of healthcare.

“In WA we’ve got great healthcare professionals but unfortunately they’re working in a system that is quite simply, not that well,” said Dr Duncan-Smith.
