Pub bans indigenous patrons

A goldfields pub is under fire for enacting a ban on serving indigenous patrons because of a dispute over the alleged theft of an iphone. The Denver City Hotel in Coolgardie placed the sign behind the bar naming the person and refusing service until the phone’s return.
Lisa called through to the Morning program to confirm the ban was enforced on at least one occasion when her nephew was refused service at the hotel.
