Protesters have vandalised the famous painting ‘Down on his Luck’ by Frederick McCubbin at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, spray-painting the artwork with the Woodside logo.

6PR Perth Live spoke to Trent Rojahn, one of the offending protestors, who believes vandalising is the only way to get their message across.

“What gives us the right is currently over a million pieces of art are being destroyed,” said Mr Rojahn.

“Woodside is doing this to millions of pieces of art.”
