Beetlejuice the Musical is coming to Perth’s Crown Theatre this August for a limited season.

Composer-lyricist Eddie Perfect told 6PR Long Lunch host Tod Johnston that adapting the classic film was in his wheelhouse.

“It was so much fun making it a musical because it’s my favourite subject: death, dying, grief, life, comedy, demons, the afterlife. You could really go to town on a show like that,” he said.
