There’s been another change to isolation rules following yesterday’s National Cabinet meeting.

The Prime Minister has announced in a media statement rapid antigen tests will no longer be required for people infected with COVID-19 on their sixth day in isolation.

Instead, people are only required to remain in isolation until they don’t have any symptoms, after their 7 day isolation period.

“Anyone with symptoms will continue to seek a PCR test,” Mr Morrison wrote.

The change, which state leaders have agreed to, was made following consultation with the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Health Officers.
