The 2023 Grammy nominations are out and two of the biggest artists on the planet have broken a new record as the most nominated artists in Grammy history.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast that both Jay Z and Beyoncé have a total of 88 nominations each.

“That’s the definition of a power couple, certainly in terms of the music world.”

Beyoncé has scored a further 9 nominations in the 2023 Grammy awards, needing to win four of these in order to become the biggest winner of all time at the Grammy’s.

Ford also discussed ABBA and Diana Ross’s nominations, as well as the celebrations of Petula Clark’s 90th birthday.
