The Police Commissioner admits some West Australians are being monitored – as part of ongoing efforts to reduce our terror risk.

There are fears more Australians could become radicalised as conflicts in the middle east continue – ASIO has recently confirmed up to 100 Aussies are fighting overseas.

Karl O’callaghan says while WA’s overall risk is very low – a security Operations Superintendent will soon head overseas to look at ways to de-radicalise people.
