Sixteen years since her disappearance, a new search for Madeleine McCann is seeing investigators from multiple countries massing at a Portuguese lake.

German police, Portuguese government representatives and British detectives have arrived at the town of Silves following an apparent tip-off from underworld crime figures.

UK reporter Enda Brady told Millsy and Mick on 6PR Breakfast the Arade Dam reservoir  had already been searched, but new information has come to light.

“As it stands right now, there’s a German suspect called Christian Brueckner who’s in prison for something completely unrelated – German cops have been focusing on this guy for a couple of years now,” Mr Brady said.
