Major Crash Investigation officer have laid charges in relation to two fatal crashes that occurred in March.

A 42-year old man has been charged with Dangerous Driving Occasioning Death for allegedly crashing his Toyota Hilux into a 16-year-old moped driver in Wattleup on March 31.

Another charge has been laid on a 27-year old who allegedly crashed his Toyota Hilux into a Volkswagen driven by a 71-year-old in Maylands on March 11.

Both victims later died in hospital, and police allege the second incident involved drugs.
