The Gang Crime Squad and Arson Squad will investigate a suspicious fire that broke out at Emerald Ink, a tattoo Parlour owned by Amanda Martin, the widow of slain bikie boss Nick Martin, in Perth’s north in the early hours on Monday morning.

The area surrounding the business, on Wanneroo Road in Balcatta, has been cordoned off by police.

It was reported by a member of the public at around 4:20am.

Earlier this year another tattoo parlour in Ellenbrook owned by Amanda Martin was the target of a fire boming and armed robbery.

6PR reporter Megan Birch told Gareth Parker firefighters have left and only police are at the scene.

“There’s about four police officers here, the owners or managers of the shop have just arrived, so they’re just talking with police now,” she said.

“You can’t actually see any damage to the building, the windows are black already … but it appears that it is a crime scene because police have cordoned off the whole area.”
