Woman pleads for return of iPad stolen during emergency in Warnbro

Gary Adshead
A woman has had her iPad stolen from her car, after stopping to give first aid to a man in Warnbro.
Latara was driving along Ennis Avenue in Warnbro yesterday afternoon when she noticed a lady in distress and stopped to help. She found a man needing first aid – and began giving CPR.
Latara told Gareth Parker on Mornings she sent another bystander to her car to retrieve a resuscitation mask, he didn’t return and once the commotion was over and the victim taken to hospital – she realised her iPad had been stolen from her car.
She believes the bystander took it. The iPad Pro contains a thesis Latara has been working on for two years – as well as precious photos of her children.
She says she simply wants it back – no questions asked.
She says while it’s upsetting – the iPad is only material – and it wouldn’t stop her providing help when needed in the future.
