What is Misaphonia?
Misophonia is an abnormal aversion to sounds, often made by other people, intruding into your space eg: the sounds of other people eating, repetitive sounds (eg a pen tapping, keyboard tapping), neighbour’s music, noise from a nearby factory etc. Misophonia can range from mild through to severe to extreme.
Carmen & Michael spoke with Audiologist, Myriam Westcott from Dineen Westcott Moore Audiology to learn more about the condition.
