‘We’re not going to have a Sydney Harbour fiasco on our watch’

The Premier insists the matter of passengers aboard a cruise ship off the Perth coast – who’ve tested positive to COVID-19 is a Commonwealth matter.

Seven passengers aboard the MV Artania have the disease — the ship was denied entry to Fremantle Port, and is not carrying any Australians.

Mr McGowan says the seven need to be moved to a federal facility — like a defence base.
