We’re flattening the curve, but caution needed before we lift social distancing measures

A Queensland virologist is warning heath authorities could become overly confident that Australia has tackled coronavirus.

Evidence shows Australia has managed to flatten the curve of the virus with the number of daily cases decreasing, but it’ll be some months before social distancing measures are lifted.

Professor Ian Mackay told Gareth Parker on Mornings there’s still concern for outbreaks in small communities.
