Australia has seen a mixed bag of employment figures for June.

Overall the level of employment has gone up by 1.7 per cent, unemployment has also risen at the same time to 7.4 percent.

WA sits with the second highest unemployment rate after a rise of 0.6 to 8.7 percent.
