Volcano know-how

Millsy & Karl

Mark Tingay is a geologist at the University of Adelaide specialising in volcanoes and he told 6PR Breakfast that a volcanic eruption could go on for days or even months.

“The area has been under watch since September, since the volcano really started rumbling. So there’s been a lot of evacuations well prior to this,” Mr Tingay told Steve and Baz.
