“The state of the economy is pretty dire”

Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA chief economist Aaron Morey says the State’s business are suffering due to the hard border restrictions.
Mr Morey says 60,000 fewer people are employed in WA than at the start of the pandemic and economy has contracted to the size it was in 2010.
