If you said your job was to follow around music stars and go to all their concerts, you would assume a glamorous lifestyle, but it’s not necessarily so for roadies.

The secret life of roadies has been exposed in a new Aussie book looking at the physical toll on the workers behind the scenes of the big gigs.

“For them it really is that moment just before a show starts and despite all of the hard work, the 20 hour days, the endless drives up and down highways around the country and everything that they go through, they love it,” Stuart Coupe, author of Roadies, told Steve and Baz on 6PR Breakfast.
