When City of Canning resident Sarah purchased her house over a year and half ago the neighbours property looked like any other suburban backyard.

What the sellers didn’t tell her was the neighbour was a hoarder who was in jail.

Since his release, the backyard has become a dumping ground for white goods, signs, wire, trash and vermin.

The council is aware of the situation but the residents have had enough of the rubbish and fearing for their lives.
