The Big Eagle Leaving Nothing To Chance

“We’ll do our homework on the Port Adelaide boys just as we would any other team. (We’ll) focus on them and also ourselves and make sure we bring our strengths to the table.”

“I don’t think it’s spurred us on at all (people saying we’d win the wooden spoon). It doesn’t mean anything.”

Scott Lycett might be the Eagles second ruck option behind Nic Naitanui, but his stocks are rising as he continues to impress in the AFL this season.

As a restricted free agent, Lycett will certainly test the market should the Eagles not opt to offer him another contract beyond this year.

The 25-year old sat down with 6PR Sports Reporter Jimmy Williams to discuss his form, the teams success so far this season and life outside of the football world.

“It’s just inevitable that the game evolves and where that goes I’m not really sure. Us as players can only adapt to where the game goes.”
