Spare Parts Puppet Theatre: The Farmer’s Daughter

In 2014, during a series of residencies, Spare Parts Puppet theatre found themselves immersed in the rural, wheat belt lifestyle of Merredin.

Inspired by the farming community’s love of the land, a new production was born.

The Farmer’s Daughter  celebrates the iconic Australian spirit of life on the land at its home theatre in Fremantle from June 30 for the school holidays and the first week of Term 3.

On Perth Tonight Chris spoke with Spare Parts Puppet Theatre’s Artistic Director, Philip Mitchell about the company’s latest work.
