‘Some MPs have no idea about what to even spend the money on’

The Corruption and Crime Commission will this morning table a report in State Parliament into the Government’s electoral allowance system.

The inquiry looks into whether there is a lack of accountability and transparency when it comes to politician’s spending their entitlement allowances – which are allocated for the service of their electorates.

WA Greens MP Alison Xamon told Gareth Parker some politicians take the funds as a salary top-up.
