Postcards to remember Perth by

Russell Collett

Perth mum Catherine Kolomyjec took it upon herself to make life on board the Artania cruise ship a little brighter for the Captain and hundreds of crew.

Over Easter Ms Kolomyjec was given the opportunity to cook a traditional Norwegian Easter meal for Captain Morten Hansen which was delivered by the catering company supplying meals to those on the ship.  This lead to an idea to have young people write postcards for the crew.

“Wouldn’t it be nice because they’ve been stuck in their rooms for two weeks, and haven’t even seen any of Perth, to get them a postcard of Perth”, said Ms Ms Kolomyjec.

Before the ship set sail, over 400 postcards were delivered to the crew.

To see all the postcards head to Soul Gestures Facebook page.
